meblended asked: How do you mannage to work, take care of a house and of a small child and train so much? I´m also a mom for two boysand I work part time, and I find really hard to find time to workout. I already wake up at 5:00am to go running! How do you do it?
I work 3 12hr shifts a week, so I don’t work out on those days anymore now that I’m not training for a bikini competition. I workout for about an hour to am hour and a half keeping it fast pace, incorporating plyometrics or sprints between sets to keep my heart rate elevated. I take my little girl into the kids club at the gym while I work out. I do this three days a week and then the whole family will go for a hike on Sundays or just spend time together outdoors. The hardest part is getting into the routine, but once you do it becomes so natural that you don’t even think about not working out on a day you’re not at work. I’m in a maintenance phase and am still eating clean 85% of the time. That’s the key to really seeing the results you want. Hopefully this was somewhat helpful!
